Well Chuned curates its DJ sets with a foot in the past while stepping into the future. Voyaging through the multitude branches of the tree of reggae and maintaining a foundation in the roots, Well Chuned gives a nod to the permeating influence that the basslines and snares of reggae and dub music has on genres from hip-hop to electronica. The experience brings a deep reverence for the cornerstone of Jamaican riddims while integrating the styles of contemporary musical innovators now encompassing the globe.

The Desert Furs at The Rock Garden

The Desert Furs are an electrifying psychedelic rock and jam quartet based in Boulder County, Colorado. Formed in 2019, the band consists of guitarist and lead singer, Billy Wassung, Jon Studtmann on bass and vocals, Cody Bump on keyboards, synths and vocals, and Alex Thiessen on drums and percussion.

Drawing inspiration from the rich legacy and funky grooves of the 1960’s and 70’s, The Desert Furs weave a unique compositional tapestry of original songs with luscious tones, atmospheric textures, and ethereal vocal harmonies. Their music takes listeners on a transcendental sonic journey through kaleidoscopic landscapes, where rhythmic improvisations collide with an inspiring message of love. See more here.
