Join us for a special Wednesday event to welcome Jon Roniger and The Good For Nothin' Band as they bring us some New Orleans love to Colorado. In the seven years since the band’s inception, they boast a host of local residencies on the highly competitive New Orleans music scene. The band consists of Jon Roniger (singer/songwriter, guitar), Brendan Michael Bull (drums), Bob Kling (bass), Jake Gold (keys), Ellis Seiberling (trombone) and Raph Zee (trumpet). For 200+ shows a year, Jon Roniger and The Good For Nothin’ Band tour nationally and internationally. Maniac World, their first LP garnered rave reviews; “New Orleans based five piece The Good for Nothin’ Band practically crackle with chops on each cut.” (Lydia Hillenburg, Vents Magazine), “There’s something to satisfy every sensibility. Join us for Well Chuned's return to The Rock Garden in Lyons for an evening of reggae music, spinning classic and modern roots, dub, dancehall and more.

Well Chuned curates its DJ sets with a foot in the past while stepping into the future. Voyaging through the multitude branches of the tree of reggae and maintaining a foundation in the roots, Well Chuned gives a nod to the permeating influence that the basslines and snares of reggae and dub music has on genres from hip-hop to electronica. The experience brings a deep reverence for the cornerstone of Jamaican riddims while integrating the styles of contemporary musical innovators now encompassing the globe.
